FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CAN I COLLECT FOOD?

This is a delivery only service.

WHERE IS THE FOOD BANK LOCATED?

We are based in Broughty Ferry, however the specific location will remain undisclosed for security reasons.

WHICH AREAS DO WE COVER?

We are based in Broughty Ferry, and the Food Bank is primarily there to support the local community within the DD5 postcode and surrounding areas.

There are several excellent food banks serving other areas of Dundee, however if you find yourself in urgent need of support, please get in touch and we WILL do everything we can to help.

Most deliveries will be made on foot, so in accordance with government guidelines we will be aiming to keep travel to a minimum.

DO I NEED TO BE ON ANY SOCIAL WORK SYSTEMS OR BE REFERRED TO RECEIVE SUPPORT?

No.

Simply complete our referral form and we will be in touch.

HOW CAN I HELP?

We have already assembled a small army of helpers to help organise and distribute food packages.  At present we are not accepting any further applications.

We require support in the form of food and household donations, and monetary donations so that we can purchase more stock.  Please visit our Just Giving page.

WHERE CAN I DONATE GOODS?

We have arranged several drop-off points throughout the local area.  Please see the lost of drop-off locations above.
