Following a significant reduction in demand and referrals, the team of volunteers at BFFB have decided to suspend our services.

Households requiring ongoing support have been referred another local Food Bank. Should you require any support, or are looking to find help for someone else, please visit the following link where you can find information about Food Provision throughout Dundee:

ASK FOR HELP
We aim to offer support for those in need during the coronavirus crisis.
If you find yourself, or are aware of someone, in need of assistance please get in touch and we will do all we can to ensure they have a supply of basic food and household supplies.

Deliveries will begin on Tuesday 7th April
and will continue weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays

CAN I COLLECT FOOD?
This is a delivery only service.

WHERE IS THE FOOD BANK LOCATED?
We are based in Broughty Ferry, however the specific location will remain undisclosed for security reasons.
WHICH AREAS DO WE COVER?
We are based in Broughty Ferry, and the Food Bank is primarily there to support the local community within the DD5 postcode and surrounding areas.

There are several excellent food banks serving other areas of Dundee, however if you find yourself in urgent need of support, please get in touch and we WILL do everything we can to help.
​
Most deliveries will be made on foot, so in accordance with government guidelines we will be aiming to keep travel to a minimum.
DO I NEED TO BE ON ANY SOCIAL WORK SYSTEMS OR BE REFERRED TO RECEIVE SUPPORT?
No.

HOW CAN I HELP?
We have already assembled a small army of helpers to help organise and distribute food packages. At present we are not accepting any further applications.
